Curling for the Conservancy FUNspiel

On March 22 2015, 10 teams had a great time competing in our second annual Curling for the Conservancy FUNspiel! Over $3400 was raised in support of the Algoma Highlands Conservancy’s ongoing operational costs. Thanks to everyone who came out to show their support!

After the incredible success of last year’s event (over $5000 raised!) we are pleased to invite all curling enthusiasts, from newbie to expert, to join us in our second annual CURLING FOR THE CONSERVANCY Funspiel event on March 22 2015 from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

The event will be held at the Soo Curling Club at 124 Anita Blvd in Sault Ste. Marie, ON (check out our facebook event page at for a map of the location!

Cost: $20 curling fee + $30 minimum donation to the Conservancy = $50 total per person

Cost includes: 3 guaranteed games, lunch and instruction for beginners + brooms and sliders (if needed).

There will be a silent auction as well, with lots of great items up for bid!

To register your team of 4 send an email to Include “Curling” in the subject line and include your team name, the names of your 4 members and rank your team members as beginner, intermediate or advanced.
